Since beginning his consulting practice in 1986, Bill Webb, MIRM, has become a leading provider of management, marketing and sales improvement systems for home builders, land developers and Realtors throughout the United States and Canada.


Bill is a graduate of the Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Virginia and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bill also holds an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Kenan-Flagler Graduate School of Business at UNC.  He is a past President of the Institute of Residential Marketing of the National Association of Home Builders.


Bill teaches all four of the Institute’s membership qualification courses. He is the author of Course One, Understanding Housing Markets and Consumers and also of Course Four, The Challenge of New Homes Sales Management. Bill received the Institute’s 1994 Excellence in Education Award, recognizing his outstanding lifetime achievement in furthering the goals of the Institute.


Bill is a frequent contributor of articles to a number of professional publications, and he has been a regular featured speaker at both the Super Sales Rally and Sales Management Summit programs at NAHB’s International Builders Show. He has been sponsored on nationwide tours and television presentations by General Electric Appliances and Norwest Mortgage. Currently, Bill is national chair of an NAHB working group bringing home builders and new home marketers closer together in a mutually-supportive relationship during these times of special stress.


Adapting the sophisticated marketing and management techniques of Fortune 500 companies to the home building business is a specialty of Bill’s. He is a recognized expert on consumer buying behavior, psychographic market segmentation, computer applications for prospect and customer management, Internet development strategies and high-powered sales training. Bill’s best selling book is  SWEET SUCCESS in New Home Sales: Selling Strong in Changing Markets, published by BuilderBooks.com. Bill has donated his author’s royalties to the National Housing Endowment earmarked for construction trades training.

Bill served four years at sea as a Naval Officer, and is a current member and past Director of the United States Navy League in Jacksonville. He is a certified Master Scuba Diver and Divemaster, and he holds an Extra Class amateur radio license with callsign: K4ZIW. Bill is an avid runner, an enthusiastic motorcyclist and an aspiring private pilot .
